Smic?

There is nothing being "radiated" when you're stopped, where the heck do you get info. The "radiator" in you car does nothing when stopped as well, hence the fan.

So you're saying that a heatsink will only become cooler while air is flowing over it? Brilliant...

how can you be a fanboi for an actual product like a fmic. He just mentioned cobb...but a fmic will out perform a tmic any day of the week. I hate fanbois for calling people fanbois. try to contribute something more next time.

I responded the the statement of "looks better", do you actually read or just type with your eyes closed. Please pay attention before wasting my time.

A heatsink is not a radiator. Plus without fans moving air the air becomes the same temp. Stick with apples to apples brainchild.

Not really. Lots of water in that IC right. Thermodynamics don't work the same with air as with water. You description also has nothing to do with radiating.

Air is a medium of transfer just like water and they do work approx. the same except for water obviously being a much more potent medium.

If air was not a medium of transfer your body would overheat and die.

I think I made my point, all I can do is present the information, if you choose to remain ignorant than thats your choice.

Happy thanksgiving everyone.

(rofl)(hand) thank you - funny as hell to see someone so wrong try to argue and insult their way out of it.... and you have the balls to throw insults such as brainchild... Priceless

I can't recall a post you ever made that helped anyone. Happy Thanksgiving man.

The post he's referring to is a "scientific" post? I feel sorry for you.

He called it the most scientific post in the thread, and then proceeded to say something totally incorrect. do you read posts or just type replies with your eyes closed?

thanks for the info guys.........im going with the FMIC. it just makes more sense to me. my driving is 50 highway/50 street.. any suggestions on a simple install?
thanks

if you want a simple install, don't get a front mount.

unless you're doing auto-x or drag racing at a track, a top mount would suit you fine, I am sure.
