Smart Brake Error Messages

Hello,

Once in a while my 2018 cx5 touring showing "smart brake system malfunction" and "forward smart city brake support malfunction" error messages.

So I went to AutoZone and done the scan.

Code c0023-62 (Stop Lamp Control-Signal compare failure) came up.

Sounds like my car needs a new brake light switch

My question is:

After replacing the switch,, Do I need to reprogram my car's computer?

Thanks!

Update:

It's been a week since I replaced the brake light switch. Error codes are gone. Problem solved!

Solution
I've been seeing random smart brake on the dash. Mostly during cold weather. Was it the "brake light switch" at the pedal? I have 2017 so its as different p/n of BN7N-66-490 ... aka Stop lamp switch.
N7Turbo's comment is also thoughtful as it could have been dirt/ice, other, on the windshield where the camera is for the SmartBrake system. Keep those windscreens clean! :)
