Sleezer1533's 2005 Impreza 2.5RS GC

So apparently 24hrs wasnt enough time for the metal filler to dry all the way where I filled in the recessed areas that used to hold the "Racing" decals
It dried and cracked looking kinda like a desert floor

So I came up with kind of a creative way to hide it. This gives me an excuse to throw more clear on

Still waiting for the hubcentric rings
Made an appt for tuesday for an alignment and to have the tires mounted then everything balanced
If the rings get here by then Ill have em throw the wheels on too if not Ill just take em with me and put em on one the rings do get here

Today I reset the ECU via TheGoldenFists instructions
Cleared the CEL that was still in there from the clogged stock cat, so far so good no light but I only drove a couple miles back from work.
Also, not sure if this is just a fluke but the exhaust seems to have stopped "farting/spitting" at high RPM at WOT. Seems like a significant change that wouldn't have been caused by resetting the ECU. Ill pay attention to it over the next couple days. Anyway if it stays like this, its sounding kick ass right now

Also checked the mail, just junk, no hub-centric rings. Grrrr. Im bringing the car in in the AM for an alignment and to have the tires mounted to the wheels. Debating on weather ill just have them but the rings in if they have em or just take the wheels with me and put the rings in when they get here....

Had the alignment done this morning along with the tires mounted and the wheels balanced
However they did not have hubcentric rings, so Im still waiting on those

Till then:

Body filler and I will become friends I think...
Maybe this:RESTOGRIP

Yeah looks good man but needs some LOW. Also not sure if you noticed or not but your missing a fender...lol

Ha yea fender got banged up, doin a bit of work on it

And yea ... timing belt + water pump then coils to get rid of that gap

Wheels look good man i like where this is heading. So whats next on the mod list other than coils.

I just bought some rims and tires for my subie, just last month we went to a Old School Meet over at COBB and had a nice cruise it was fun as hell. We had over 30 subies go on the cruise.

There will be some small cheap mods here and there
But as for the big stuff

V1 Timing Belt Kit
Then Coils. Been looking at the BC BRs

So Im loving the new wheels and correct alignment. I can accelerate hard through turns with no squealing or breaking the tires loose. Car is much more glued to the ground now.

Also I disabled my DRLs, no more driving around with the ebrake engaged at one click

Then I took her out to the car wash today. Vacuumed and cleaned the interior, washed the engine bay, and Im so freakin amazed at how well simple green cleans brake dust off wheels I was thinking these wheels were going to be a b**** to keep clean,

Went on vacation for the past four days
4 hour trip to the cabin in the Adirondacks = Bonding time with my car
-Loving the alignment and balance, got up to 120 on a straight and barely knew it as far as any shaking or vibration
Stopped to top off at about the 2.5hr mark, CEL popped on shortly after, gotta read that code tomorrow at work

And snapped a pic. Loved how it looked, kinda menacing like "Yea Im guarding the front door for ya"
