well, based on the system, i doubt it was that bad. That other guy was charged 148,000 for 16 over.

I believe that's the way the German system works, too. It's designed to be fair. In the U.S. what's a $100 speeding ticket to a millionaire? Catch my drift? Not saying I agree with that system, but that's why it's like that.

That's just beggin people to try and evade police. I'd sure as hell try, even if I was a millionaire, if I knew my ticket was goign to be over $100,000. That's just stupid. The only way I would ever consider something like this is if all the money went to the educational system or impoverished housing developments within the city the fine occured.

I can see it being more...but at the same time they should have limits on how much over. They shouldn't be punishing people for being successful. The one guy was charged 200,000 for only going 16 over the limit...that's a little ridiculous to me.
