I actually Love sirius satelite radio and they dont have to give me discounts for me to say that.

Is that on topic enough for you crybaby?

I've had sirius for a while now. I might as well live in the god damn shire there are so many trees. I have never, not once, had a problem. With XM or Sirius. The only place there isnt' great service is up in the catskill mountains due to the satellites inclination.

I live in houston and mine hardly ever goes off, only when im under those building structures. I love it IMO. better than am/fm, but cd's > all.

you obviously have issues in alabama with english education

Hey Matthew,

You are quite possibly the worst form of representation, for a company, I could ever think of. I'm not sure why anyone would select you to represent them, but maybe they should reconsider their decision, because during your little b**** fit with super matty you have gone on and made a remark about the whole state of Alabama being ignorant. Although not blatantly obvious, it was apparent what you were implying. You my friend, are an asshat.

(rofl)

i have XM, and it works from here to OK and back just fine. I occasionally lose it under large overpasses, and when I am sitting at the window in certain drive-thrus. I used to have it on my trunk til I realized it was scratching it. Now it's on the rear deck in the corner of the window.

im really tired of hearing mathews opinion on how evertyhing he or his girlfriend owns sucks balls and its the most worthless absolute pile of s*** ever created.

I drove from San Antonio, TX to Fairbanks, Alaska last year. I have sirius on my car. I drove through NM, AZ, CA, OR, WA, BC, and YT. I only had 1 problem with it the ENTIRE trip: It quit in YT. suxorz.

And it didn't quit until about 1/2 hour past Whitehorse. So my sirius DOESN'T suck. I called to find out if they were going to support Canada or Alaska anytime in the future, and they said that there were plans, but no definite date. Even up here in Fairbanks, every once in a while on a cloudy (yes, I said cloudy) day, it picks up a signal and I crank up Octane. But then I turn and lose the signal. dammit.

if the s*** keeps givin out, keep the 20 a month or whatever to buy cd-r's and burn your own mp3 cd's. you can get like 7 albums on one disk.

a satellite is up in space broadcasting the music, you install special equipment in your car and you listen to the music.

really? because I heard you guys were talking about how to get better satellite radio reception and was wondering if that would help me get better gas mileage

The two major providers have slightly different technologies, but the principle is the same:

You have satellites that cover the contenintal United States. As long as you have line of site to those satellites you have a signal. For the most part it's either on or off, no static. However in populated areas they have set-up ground repeaters to help with coverage. The areas that these repeaters are in vary by company and so does their effectiveness.

For my commute from Morgan Hill to Sunnyvale, I typically lose signal only once for a brief bit, and that is at the 280/680/101 interchange and the mass of concrete that I have to pass under.

Occasionally I'll lose signal for a moment under other overpasses but not often.

it had nothing specifically to do with alabama, if the person had been from texas or any other state for that matter i would have to as a matter of question wonder what the public schools were teaching since he has a hard time reading.

just as you have embarressed yourself by being the 34890387 person to say something about being a rep for such and such company when i am NOT a rep for ANY company.
