Hey did anyone else recieve a letter in the mail from sirius (serious) saying they will get a free antenna and head unit? I work up at circuit city and those things run about 200 dollars.....

Yes, all Mazdaspeed owners have been able to get free headunits/antenna's since the release of the car. This may be a new deal, but with the original, you just had to agree to keep the service active for a year (you can still pay monthly if you want). The only "catch" is that if you cancel before a year you have to pay a $50 termination fee, which is still less then the cost of the equipment. I have been very happy with mine.

Just to let everyone know...American Satellite (the company giving us the free tuner & antenna) doesn't have the units in stock.

There's a current promotion with Sirius...buy an antenna for $50, and get the tuner for free. The same terms apply (you have to stay with Sirius for 1 year). I just did it that way...plus the Terk antenna you can buy in the store is much nicer than the Kenwood one you get for free through American Satellite.

If you want to have it before Christmas, your best bet is going to be buying the stuff from Circuit City for $50. Install it yourself, it's easy.

The free equipment from Mazda via American Satellite was an offer only for Mazdaspeed owners, but through Circuit City or Best Buy or whomever you can get the buy the antenna get the tuner for free deal.

Wholesale Clubs

If you go to Sam's Club or BJ's Wholesale clubs, you can get 2 months for free...
