Show me your CX-5 wheels

About 2K. So far, so good, although if I had it to do over, I might just with Cork Sport lowering springs and forgo the shock adjustments as I never use them anyway.
My only issue is I would like to replace the factory shocks with a performance shock to better handle the higher spring rates since the oem shocks aren't designed for it. The oem will do ok but not great and they will wear out sooner than normal. So far the only the way to get a performance shock is in a coilover setup.

Why would the shocks wear out more quickly? With stiffer springs you get (overall) less suspension travel, hence less wear on the shocks.

Because shocks are tuned for a specif8c spring rate. With stiffer and lower springs that rate of oscillation increase as the movements are shorter. Stock shocks are not designed to handle that.

2021 Cx5 GT - Tire tread was getting low for snow season, so I finally downsized from the stock 19s to 17s and upgraded to all terrains.

Falken Wildpeak A/T Trails, 245/65/17 and liquidmetal wheels (i’d have to look back to see their specifications)

The extra sidewall is purely magical with all the road imperfections around me! Very happy with my choices, thanks to the folks, especially @Jack Rabbit, for all the advice and such!

What’s the wheel offset? And any rubbing?

Nice choice . I looked at those liquid metals but didn't go with my metallic gray. Look really good on your blue though.

Looks great! Love the wheel choice. And those backdrops are beautiful!

Thanks! I could see that (it not being great with grey). They're nice and subtle yet kinda sharp looking at the same time.

Thank you! Indeed, it's a blessing to live in Colorado :)

I looked at those awhile ago... If i remember right they were a 40 offset which is ok. Don't go lower than 35( with 235 and larger tires) or higher than 47(with 225 tires)
Eventually I plan on replacing my CX7 with a CX5. I was just curious as I am running 235/65/17 summer and winter tires. Summer wheels are 17x8.5 35 mm offset and the winters are 17x8 35 mm offset.
when I do change suvs Im just taking both sets with me.
