Should I trade my msp for mazda3? Help!!

Ok so I have a love hate relationship with my speed and I'm debating on trading my msp for a 05 mazda3 with GFX, leather. My msp is 2003.5
titanium grey with 15000kms on it, along with all the problems(hesitation,
the clunk, alarm, rust on rotors, sub woofer, etc....). I have been offered
$18000 canadian from the dealear which seems alright(plus I'll save aroung $2600 in tax with a trade in). Who eles feels this way and would rather a
mazda 3. Please I need feed back asap!!

i would rather have the MSP. It depends what you paid for your MSP that should be the deciding factor.
If you paid MSRP ($27K), then $9K is a big hit to take for $15,ooo kilometres.

actually i had a mazda 3 and i gave it back i didn't like it. i will keep my msp rather than trade it for a mazda 3 . in my opinion

I Paid $24 000 one year ago new and owe $21 000 on the pay out, so the loss isn't that bad! Like i said the dealer is offering me $18 000 for my msp, plus I 'll save $2600 in taxes on the new car. But is the Mazda3 GFX, leather worth it?

No in my opinion is not worth it look for another car , the mazda 3 is ugly and too slow , wait for the msp 6

The clunk and the alarm should be fixable under warranty. Buy aftermarket rotors and a new subwoofer. The MSP is faster, IMO better looking, better handling and more unique. Keep the MSP.

Depends on what you want, the 3 isnt going to be nearly as quick as the MSP or handle anywhere near it. The 3 will be a lot more comfortable daily driving and give you better gas mileage and since its the 2nd year its been out should have almost no problems, maybe a minor one here or there but shouldnt have as many as the MSP

I would keep the MSP. If you just want something new I would consider quite a few other cars in the price range before considering the 3, just my opinion.

Actually, the comment regarding gas mileage - I have a buddy with a 2.3L 5 door, and he claims the mileage basically sucks in the 3. He told me he regularly gets less than 22 mpg, and I don't think he's calculating it wrong...

I think it may be a bit of a common problem with them also.

You'll be taking a loss. Plus you'll probably end up pouring money into the 3 trying to replicate the performance you had in the speed. Plus, I see those 3's everywhere.

For the class of car that we have, I don't think that there is anything else out there that actually matches the overall performance of the MSP. As for the problems, if you're picky enough, then you'll find that with any car.

I say keep the MSP until it is paid off. Plus, like someone else mentioned, the MSP is becoming more rare and you see as many 3's as you do Neon, Civics and Cavaliers.

i would keep the speed any day.......not a big fan of the 3 sedan, but i do like the hatchback.
