Sho's 2007 MS3

Thanks guys, i love em too!

Possibly on Friday! Need to scrounge up some money for an extra quart of redline mt90. I have 2 full quarts sitting at home, but want 3 just for safe measure

Sho, I have some! Do you buy one? If not, I will bring it with me to Phen's if you are coming by, tonight.

Sho, I think you have a quart or two that you left at my house when we did your other axle. I'll double check tonight.

edit- Marlon, was that post meant for the Ohio random thread?

Axle went in over the weekend. Thanks to Evan #1 for the help on that! Flashed back to my 93 map as I got a ton of driving to do for work this week, and need to get the best mpg possible, and also because road trip to Chattanooga, TN this weekend for a wedding

So, I brought these home tonight. Will be a pretty slow build, as I'm going to be ordering parts In as I can afford them. But nonetheless, this car will have a built motor in it eventually.

Any time. It would have sat till I had the money, time, or motivation to do something with it. Good luck buddy! hope it all goes to plan and you end up with a bad ass setup!

Few updates from the weekend:
-hit the dyno again on Saturday...car only made 301/310, and both Rob Finkle and I were a little disappointed til we looked at the data logs from when the car was on the dyno. Since Boost Air temps were much higher than they normally are when I'm driving on the street, the ECU pulled timing for safety. Took some logs that night after getting some ice cream with the meeps, and everything was where it should be (315whp/350+ tq) when BAT's are below 120.
-Sunday went to cars and coffee, lunch, a quick fun run, then off to Patrick's to do a compression test.

Results were this at 109.5k miles

Now you need a GTXR7846 big turbo so you can have 500+ horsepowers.

Happy that your car is as healthy as ever!
Me too. Now, let's build some motors so neither of us have to worry about s*** lol

LOL! There will be a big snail in the future. Just need to get started on the other motor build and make a decision on how far I want to push it

Update. Installed a COBB FMIC yesterday with the help of Jake and V. The core is supposedly good to 500whp, so I figured I'd upgrade now and be ready for when the motor/Big Turbo build is complete...plus I got it for $380, which is pretty awesome.

Some pics from mock up, to final install. The hot and cold pipes both run up the drivers side of the engine bay, and as you can see...its a tight fit and a major pain in the ass to install. Don't mind my mess of an engine bay, LOL!

Jake and I first mocked up the piping to make sure everything fit, and we had all the pieces. Then had V pick up some JB Weld and power steering fluid while he was on his way over to make a couple quick repairs and also top off my leaking power steering rack

Everything connected and TMIC ducting removed from hood

Jakey and V trimming my bumper as the piping was hitting some portions and not allowing the bumper to go back on the car

It fits!

Crazy routing for the piping

Hot and cold pipes so close, we took a silicone coupler and cut it and taped it to the hot pipe to keep it from rubbing on the cold pip/bpv flange

Bumper back on...stealth black core

Thanks sir. The car drives completely different than I'm used to. It used to be quite violent at WOT when the k04 spooled up, now it's smooth and linear. I like it, but I have to get used to it.
