Looks like a pretty standard "cover my ass in all situations" disclaimer like I have seen with other parts.....just keeps them out of hot water if something breaks.....not to mention if they sell you crappy parts....it covers them there too.

Well, it's the whole "competiton will void your warranty" thing that I didn't care for, mostly.

Yeah lots of manufacturers have similar worded warranties nowadays...I love legal jargon...basically it says if you even think of using the part, they can't be held liable.
