Shifter Boot ?

Hey people can someone tell me if the MP3 gear shifter boot is smaller than the P5 boot?
As i am going to fit a short shifter and was thinking if it is smaller i will buy a new boot as well. thx

same. i made a custom shift boot outta kangaroo leather. looks pretty damn good to me

i made my own shortened shifter boot out of the stock boot.

Just use the stock one.

I just pushed the extra material down. Works great, Less filling.

yeah unless you are really anal about the extra leather, it's not necessary, I have the TWM shifter which I believe is the shortest and it's not a big deal

tunnel - nah i bought it already dyed black...it was actually an offcut and only cost me $15. and yeah, friggen strong stuff!

i used to just have the stock boot for a while, but the shorter boot makes it look much better. looks pretty close to stock (which is what i like)

twilight, wanna take a pic? I'm curious what kangaroo leather looks like. although I'm sure it's pretty close to cow leather

yeah it's pretty much the same, just a lot stronger for the same thickness compaired to moocow leather. i can take a picture when i get home from work tonight.

i made my own with yellow stitching from a pattern out of the original. looks awesome and fits well

Where did you guys get your leather? The upholstry shops around here only want to sell me like half hides ($300) and crap...
