I love my MP3, and I LOVE my serrvice department. I'm sorry so many of you other guys have bad ones, but the service department of Nelson Nissan/Mazda in Tulsa, OK kicks some serious ass.
As many of you know I took my MP3 in to them this week to finally replace some faded door handles and mirrors. well when I brought it to them I decided to have them check out the cluck as well, since I have never had the bushings replaced (I just lubed them weekly) They said fine, we'll take care of it, they didn't bicker with me one damn bit, nor did they hassle me a whit about my faded plastic parts. And now, as I prepare to leave for NW Ohio for a work related trip (in a company pickup truck) I called them to see when my car was going to be done. They told me that it was just finished and that the tech drove it around to see if the "clunk" was no-more. They also discovered the 2nd to 3rd shifting funk ( even though I never felt it, it must of grown on me), and told me that they wanted to fix it for me since I was going to be out of town anyways. So now I'm getting a new shift fork as well.
NOW THATS SERVICE! Them suggesting that they would do more work FOR ME! Of course this is all warranty work, and I woun't be paying a dime for it.
I'm really happy with my service department also because they have never said a word about my modifications, even when my primary cat went out on my car last year.
so in summation, come on down to Tulsa if your service department sucks. And to think I get all of this stuff fixed because my door handles and mirrors were (slightly) faded.
Thank your Mazda!
See you guys in a couple of days! L8R
