2006 MS6 GT
Just to let you know this car is really pissing me off. I have only put 4000 miles on it. I bought it used at 8850 miles. It is a 2006 MS6 GT. So far the Chassis had to be tightened due to some severe squeaking. I had to replace the motor mount because there was a severe clicking. My traction light came on permanently so they had to due something with the clutch and spring of some sort. Now the traction light will not come on even if i am losing traction. (tested that on the last snowfall last week). Now the plastic skid plate that is under the front part of the car has totally come off and is scraping in some parts when i drive. All my service has been done at a Mazda Dealership in Kansas City. I got this car in September.

Sorry for the rant but i think i got a lemon here. The skid plate is not a warranty item i think and i am not even sure what the hell that is going to cost plus the bumper is really loose. I have not wrecked this car nor mistreated it at all.

Any help or suggestions are much appreciated.

that's a total bummer dude! This is definatly the first time I've hurd someone having so many problems. I say drop it off at the dealership and tell them you don't want it back until its all fixed!!! or sell it and buy another one! and for the front bumper take it to a body shop they can re hang the bumper and skid plates It shouldent cost to much 150-200 prob

I'm really sorry, I hate cars like that. You're nice to them and what do they give you back? A slap in the face.

Hope you get it sorted out but I would bring it to a body shop for the bumper then try and sell it as high as I can as quickly and painlessly as possible. Then probably find another one that was well treated and hope for the best.

Good luck!

Thank you for the support. I have a feeling i know the deal with the bumper. I got the oil changed last week and i bet the mechanic didn't put everything on right. I have no proof of this but it is the only thing i can think of. I baby the hell out of the car, so i am at a loss.

You could be right about that, but idk what to tell you or where you should bring it.

You might want to try my tactic and whenever the car starts to b**** at you, slap it. Like with my car when it starts doing its "I'm on meh period" crap then I just push the pedal in a little farther and run it a little faster then tell it to stfu or else it's getting the boot and I'm getting paid.

So far it works. I'm looking into really selling my car for a 2009 Tacoma TRD Sport and it's been the fastest (although it's still slow as s***), tightest, most un-troublesome it has ever been. Except for my lifters ticking but that's going in to get fixed tomorrow afternoon.

That really sucks to hear that you're having so many problems... especially with a car that has so few miles. Hope everything works out for you.

Sorry man, I just got a 06 6s and I'm having nothing but problems. This things starting to piss me off.

for the skid plate, there are about 6-8 bolts that hold it up, my guess is the oil change was done wrong and they missed a couple/put it on wrong. shouldn't cost you anything, except maybe the price of a new bolt or two (like $2)

for the TCS, you need to really break free to get the light to come on. you slide a bit and its not gonna turn on. is it the car sliding icon? or the AWD icon?

It is the car sliding icon.
