can i get this covered with the warranty?
i got into an accident this morning. my 3 got this part injured, and the other car, had her bumper injured. not too bad.
but the thing is, this is my first accident, and she just came out of the car to see what happened, and we talked for 15~20 seconds,( it was raining), and she just gone away. but it was my fault in the accident. i dont know why she just went away.
but the thing is, can i get this covered with the warranty?

I don't think so. Is it just the license plate frame that has the boo-boo?

yeahp... just that. but both side in the front. left and right. its kind of loose.
Can't be but 10-20 bucks from the dealer, s*** i got an extra one here cause we don't have front license plate in PA.

thats good, 20 bucks, it's nothing.
i need HID XENON, or whatever lights, i need a white light.
anyone know anywhere cheap?

where are you? how fast were you going? did she mention anything like not calling cops it's minor?.....did you offer to call and she distracted you from doing so? the plate frame is cool but warrenty doesn't cover accidents even if they don't occur below thw 5 mph rating of the support....My best bet is go to midas cause they do estimates withought getting insurance involved...the plactic front facia is designed to bend in and pop back out as if nothing hapened so you may have the front support damage. reason I say don't try coliosion from dealer is they won't process it withought insurance company approval....also I asked about her not wanting to report it cause she may have no license or insurance herself and she didn't want to get dinged for it most likely. or it wasn't even her car...also never determine who's falut it is till you get the cop on scene...she may have hit the brakes but you could also claim she went in reverse and gunned it...thats why you aren't suppose to talk about that till they are there. we all screw up on the 1st accident. I had someone rear end me in rush hour traffic...he didn't want to call and raise his rates and gave me a insurance paper invoice with his provider and pollicy#...guess what happened....the pollicy or car didn't exist... the form was an incredible spoof and 2 days before trade in...

Just take it off. Your car will look better without it anyways.

I've had mine off for over a year, been pulled over 3 times. 2 times it wasn't even mentioned. The third time I was given a ticket for no plate, but a warning on driving 20MPH over in a work zone. Having no plate saved me from a moving violation and an additional $300 in fines.

thats why i asked where he is...like ohio and new your they love stroking people for that...hell people get tickets for their non muffler srt-4s and stock evo wings...

also warrenty is covering defects that are found by malfunctions or blemishes in quality not dammage from moving vehicle.

the accident was in a 35 max speed road. i was way to school, and it was raining much. she was right infront of me. i saw her slowing down. so i did too. but i took my eyes off the roads. and boom. but it wasnt big, very small. or kind of small.
i think we live in the same village( a series of apartments= about 1000 or less houses) because she saw me, and i saw her. when she got out of the car, she saw what happened to my car, and then to her car. and then she said, i saw you coming out from the village, why did you come so fast. and then i said, no, i wasnt coming fast, i was turning my ac on because of the rain. and she just got into the car, and gone away.

i think i still have the plate holder from my P5, i think they are probably the same. if i have it ill send it to you if you pay the shipping

take it to a shop to get the front facia off before you break out the bubblys to celebrate...the facia ans support is only designed to withstand 5 mph impacts before showing damage cause I know of a car that rolled and the fron't facia looks cool but the FMIC and side markers were toast...like stated before the support could have bent a lil but or alot....thats where when you trade in 3-5 years later and on aprasial they find $300 in damage and the no accident in the vehicle you swore just got compromised and you don't get anywhere near blue book for it....like I said go to midas cuase most of them look at the car for free and let you see it while it's on the lift...in a good case scenario the screws were loosened in the splash gard and thats what you feel loose and not the catual bolts holding it to the frame. Had that happened to people I know...just cause the paint didn't flake doesn't mean nothing big happened. thats the thing about new cars they are desighen to withstand the impact so you don't get too injured in most cases. all I ask is get it looked at so you can sleep better knowing there isn't damage instead of that "maybe" floating around the back of your mind like right now...

Same question here: Is it just the license plate cover thingamabob or is the actual bumber damaged?

Either way I doubt it'll get covered on the warantee, since it was driver error.
You could however get your insurance company to file a claim and get it fixed. However your monthly fee will go up b/c they need to pay off however much the dmg to the bumper is.

Honestly, I see very little dmg at all to the bumper.

As for the accident itself. You should have at least exchanged name, phonenumber, address, and license numbers and filed through your insurance company. Usually most people will pull off and call for a police unit to resolve the situation if it's more than a fender bender. If anyone insists on not exchanging information or just leaves, something is wrong.
Either they have no insurance or are in trouble with the law, which screws you over if you do not get any information.

Doh, disregard the first question lol, didn't realize there was a 2nd page. Silly me

i think it was good for me, because it was my fault, i was going to pull off, if she was going to. But she just got into the car and left, i saw her car going for 100~200 meters, and i didnt see her pulling off. so i just went to school.
and, no damage at all in the bumper. its just the lisence plate plastic.
