Question: What are the differences b/w Sport and Sedan mazda3

Hey all..

frst of all I LOVE this board.. there are a few but this one has the most information, best pictures and best crowd... i've been lurking here for a while now and it's time to get registered and post.

my question is regarding the differences between mazda3 Sedan GT + GFX and Sport GT + A/C. Are there any? if so what are they.. i tried looking at other threads but nobody really lists them.. sorry if this is available somewhere.. then pls just point me there.

all i have found was that sedan has a moonroof (in the config above) and the hatch has the spoiler and other than that they are the same. How about the tail lights? do both GTs have clear lights? So it looks like the sedan is a better buy (i haven't decided which to get yet)

insurance rates are 50bux more for the sedan but i think it's b/c the hatch isn't listed in GT version, just the GS (wherever i try to find insurance) thanks for your input!

Options-wise, there is no difference between the two (i.e. any option you want for the Sport is also available on the sedan).

Being two different bodystyles, there are a couple of items such as a cargo management system (hatch) and locking rear seatbacks (sedan) that is available on only one bodystyle.

Looks-wise, even though both bodystyles look similar, they actually don't share a single bodypanel (e.g. even the headlights are actually different). The hatch is more overtly sporty and muscular, whereas the sedan is more refined and subtle (these are Mazda's words, not mine, though I agree with them).

thx wongpress..

and yeah, i've been to those sites, just wanted to know if there was anything i was overlooking..
