Sedan RacingBeat Catback - Should I Buy for My P5?

I've done the searching, and apparently the only difference in the sedan catback and the Pro5 is the length of pipe from the muffler to the tip. Is this correct? If thats right I have found someone here locally selling the full catback for $50! I just wanted opinions before I pulled the trigger. Didn't want to get myself into a mess that would cost more than just buying the right one in the first place...

Thanks for the advice!
Nate

Do it!

Have a shop cut, shorten and reweld the tip. Don't pass up the Racingbeat Catback for such an amazing price! Are you sure it's the aftermarket Racingbeat catback or just the stock MSP catback?

You know, as of yet I'm not sure! Thanks for the heads up because I have no idea, I'm still waiting on the pics from the guy. If its the aftermarket I'm definitely going to jump on it because I need to replace my muffler due to rust. If it works out then I think it will be a good option for me!

Even if it is the stock MSP exhaust, I'd jump on it for that price. For another $50 or so you can have the tip shortened up and then sell the rest and possibly break even or make a few bucks. And the exhaust note of the MSP is very nice...I currently have one myself.

My car is Canadian and the stock muffler is pretty much going... Thats the only reason I'm looking honestly. The RB catback seems to be the quietest of the choices I've read about on here so its definitely the one for me! I had the loud exhaust on my 98 240SX (5Zigen Cannonball 3") and it was horrible on the highway. He's going to be sending me pics here before too long and I'll throw them up on here for confirmation as to which it is.

Yup, get it for sure. If you have a welder you can cut it and shorten yourself. Either way for that price i would get it. Check the link in my sig for pics of shortening the Sedan style exhaust (axle back section).

^Yeah, I agree with all. You should definitely get it. Even if it is just the stock MSP catback. If it turns out to be the aftermarket Racingbeat catback then....we all hate you :P That price is a STEAL!

I recently paid $100 for just the MSP muffler. Cut, shortened, and welded on a round Racingbeat tip. Sounded pretty good but I wanted a little more volume, so I cut out the stock resonator and replaced it with a straight pipe. Here's the result:
