Don't know which color you need, but it's $42.89 shipped from onlinemazdaparts.com. Double check with Jason (Mazdapart@gmail.com) that runs the Web site on the part number/part, but I believe the link below is what you want:

I had to replace the driver's side one in my wife's '02 Protege Sedan last September. Was looking for used first, but was swayed to purchase new since I didn't want to take a chance with a used one and her safety.

I had to order a new one a few weeks ago. It arrived sooner than expected and better than buying used.

Plan to remove the seat to replace the part. 4 bolts and it comes right out.

Don't get this part from the junkyard. Not worth the few bucks savings. Plus, it seems to be a common failure on the car, so a junkyard one could only last a few weeks before you are in the same boat again.

common problem like mentioned above....ordered one from mazda itself paid shy of $50.00
