Scion tC - 250hp

To me it looks like they took the current Celica and rounded out all the stupid edges and/or morphed it with the Tiburon.

For a Scion, it's actually on the bland side - rather generic coupe styling to be coming from the so-called "youth-oriented" and edgy new brand that Toyota has contrived.

And the nose is too blocky.

I'm not sure if i like it or not. I don't hate it, I just don't think I "like" it ( I love the roof idea though). And that's how I feel about all toyota's. I think the other guy put it best....they lack heart, they lack style, they lack just about everything really. Their just "reliable" ( meaning boring ) or at least hyped to be reliable by every car magazine on the planet. They aren't nowhere near as "reliable" as some think. I used to work at a toyota and seen their "reliability 1st hand, and I have a family member that has been a salesman there since I've been born ( Godfather actually ) and every new car and truck that comes out he tries to get me or my father interested in them....and forget, their boring. Their engines are weak for what their rated at, and about as responsive as a 90yr old grandma, and their suspensions in most of their cars leaves a lot to be desired for a car guy such as me.

i think it looks nice. just sit and look at it... now compare it to any new car u see thats coming out. it looks way better then some of these piece of s*** designs that other companies are producing.

I dont hate it.
But to me, the Celica was more dear... It always seemed like that last celica was a much more interesting car overall. Not saying pretty, the styling was rather controversial, but just more interesting, with more thought, and also that thing they had going on with yamaha... 1.8liter putting out 180 horses seems pretty darn impressing. Anyway, I will miss (in a way) the Celica, although the new Scion doesn't look terrible at all. it's just like other people said, too plain. Would choose another car over it, any day.

Cel Shading has a tendency of doing that.

I think the wheel hubs are too big or something, or that flare( what's the word I'm looking for?? ARG) around the hubs ruins the lines of the car. You don't see it on the cell shading one and it looks better. Besides the drop and skirts and stuff of course.

I'll miss the celica as well for what it's worth, the last one with a nice kit on it looked sick as hell. First Honda kills the Prelude (I'm still crying over that one ) and now the Celica.
