Saw a cool Protege 5 at local "new car" show

It had "Nawwwzzz" and an awesome stereo along with carbon fiber hood and side skirts.

Love that color and the OZ wheels, why would this be in a NEW car show?

i usually dont like those style of rims, but they fit on that p5. it looks nice.

I'd have to say that is the best carbon fiber hood I have seen yet. The two tone look combined with the side skirts is bad ass! I'm not a big fan of the full fiber hoods, they have always seemed out of place to me (however I am also not in the racing scene), But this guy pulled it off.

Yeah there was a thread awhile back from the owner and he said that Mazda NA was using his car in like 6 shows across the country. Seeing that car kinda makes me wish I had gotten the blue...naaaaaaaaaaaa I'll keep my black but that is one fine example of a clean nicely modified car. OH love the look of the two tone hood as well. If I remember correctly too the interior has many mods as well.

Mazda has been throwing in a couple of either Mazda owned or privately owned Proteges at almost all the shows lately. Most of them have Flying Proetge turbos. Some of them have been really awesome. I sure they get a lot of attention.

That's has to be one of the top P5 in the country. Someone put that car together perfectly. And I LOVE the two tone!

I dig the role cage wraping around the back of the front seats. It's like a roller coaster cart for the people in back. That brings new meeting to "Get in, sit down, hold on, & shut up!"

That car is owned by mazda america. Check out the FM Pro site. It isn't lazer blue either. It was originally Midnight blue but repainted and it a bit darker than lazer blue. I saw it at the auto show of the midlands next to a stock P5. Interesting car. Enjoy

where to get those wheels anybody know? I am looking for some like that for my P5.

OZ wheels, from www.tirerack.com

This was actually the first turboed P5 in the nation, it was done in Garland, TX awhile ago. Ofcourse now it sports a FM kit and Lazerblue paint. It was owned by Mazda, and now its privately owned by a Mazda rep. One heck of a guy who worked really hard to get it to this point.
