Saturn Redline

MSP can take a WRX

Maybe in handling, but not 1320. Stock time for the MSP is 15.1 & WRX is 14.1 (even though most people get higher in each respective car).

The Redline is 200/200 I believe, so unless it has major problems with the launching, it will definately be faster than our cars. Trust me though...other than that, it's a POS. It's missing so many things...it seems to me like Saturn forgot some stuff or ran out of $$. If it had everything the MSP does, I definately think it would be a nice car.

That Saturn Redline is a God Awful looking car, if you ask me. (puke) (pukey) (chair)

why the hel would they make a performance orintated car with a center guage cluster esp. when the damn t6ach is in the passengers side?

as an added bonus it's twice as Lame!

And if you call right now we'll throw in GM's horrible excuse for an interior ABSOLUTLEY FREE!

But wait theres more! GM designers have worked tirelessly to make it look as much like your moms car as possible!

YEAH Saturn Redline! GM day late dollar short yet again!
HAHAHAHAHAHA LOL holy s*** thats too good

The Ion Red Lines five-speed gearbox, the same one used by Saab and Opel, has a nice, short-throw shifter. It is the best Saturn shifter weve used. There are equal-length halfshafts and beefed-up CV joints to handle all the torque. We attempted several full-throttle launches and never once uttered the words torque steer.

hmmm... as compared to other saturn/GM shifters????

Should we be impressed or something. Like someone said eariler how can you take a car seriously when it has a center mounted gauge cluster

I would'nt buy one. If I left it out in the hot desert sun over here, w/ all that plastic, it would be one big heap of melted 'UGLY-ASS' car!!!! WTF is up w/ that dash!? And to quote Car & Driver, "We've waited 10 yrs. for this?"

Wow. Thanks. :D In all honesty I expected to get ripped for flaming.

Sounds to me like it's going to be a pretty solid car,.....minus the odd placement of the gauges. From the article, the handling has also been tightened up. You guys are starting to sound very bitter while all these other much more powerfull cars are coming out and unseating your beloved MSP's. Mazda better do something quick. (rofl) And this new ION looks a little similar to the MSP, so I don't know why some of you are hating on it so quick. You might want to go take another look at the car in your own driveway. The wings look especially similar. Now that VUE, I'd take one of those, if they would raise it back up. There is just no sense in a lowered SUV. But 250hp, sounds good to me. Small mods will bring it up to 300hp easily.

I am never bitter about cars. I will praise ANY car when it warrants it. But I will also be the first to rag on ones I don't like. What I drive usually doesn't figure in too much. Besides EVERYTHING we compete against has more power than the MSP so who cares? GM is gonna have to do alot more to convince me they aren't doing Meth while designing and making business models.
