SAFCII Install.. Coming Soon

Subscribing...hope it works out

Suposidly Titan Motorsport was going to tune a MSP with S-AFC...they claimed that they can make it work. Thats what they said to the owner.

My only concern is the install, I would like a PnP harness so that theres no taping or splicing of wires. I wanted to go emange but that route might be too expensive...plus I heard terry can only get it to work on P5 and MP3 ECUs

have you gone any higher than this? are you going to?
I have not gone higher and I think I am going to get forged goodies before I do.
I am going to post great results for my liquid to air tomorrow I left the dyno slips at work, so I will scan them tomorrow.

just wanted to subscribe to this thread i have a freind with a SAFC in his probe that i can pick up for $50 or would be looking at pickin up the safc II

From what I have been told from a decently reliable source that the reason the safc doesn't work is because it reads in watts not volts on the protege/msp. Therefore there would an almost slim to none chance that the safcII will work. The only thing that has changed on the II are settings and features like running so much boost on pump gas and so much boost on race gas. They did not go in and redo anything in the internals. Now this is just from a friend that is very intelligent and owns a dsm for 4 years now and he knows his s***. He is also building a turboed protege in the des moines area.

(dunno) (scratch)

hehe do you understand the difference between watts and volts, b/c they arent the same thing...and thats incorrect the safc reads volts....ive actually had the safc running on my old mx6 fs03 and my 98gsx....its all just adjusting for different voltage readings...
