I saw the picture, working here. Anyway, I did like the 350z but believe or not around me its already mainstream, their all over. So because of sheer rarity I would go with rx-8 not to mention getting the same amount of hp outta the rx-8 that the rx-7 with twin turbos has? congrats mazda I applaud you. However, they couldnt get the torque up as high as the rx-7, oh well they did good.

yea the msrx8 is my after college goal, thats a good 5 years, so i figure by then they'll be out and have a used market, so jamie will have fun....

350z. GReddy Turbo Kit which will be avaiable in a couple of months and the PE Kit (Power Enterprise) which is already available from my understanding. Both put our some serious ponies. The only RX-8 I'd be interesting in is the one that Rishie posted.

Dumb ?Question:

MS-Protege or 350Z Track Edition

I love My MAZDASPEED

(drinks)

Of course....I love My MAZDASPEED (for $20,500)

But between the RX-8, and the 350Z; the 350Z (of course, the 350Z Track Edition is considerably more at about $35,000, then the RX-8 will be). But; for under $30,000, the new RX-8 would be a possibility. I'm not so sure, I am that crazy about another rotary engine, though.

I saw the pic, I'm still trying to get my jaw off the floor, and now I REALLY want an RX-8.

This is a debate i have been having in my mind while trying to decide how to spend money I don't have yet, but hope to have in the future.

Before I had my protege5 and got familiar with the mazda scene I would have said 350z hands down. But after seeing what mazda has to offer and learning more about the rotary I am sold on Mazdas.

This is what puts the RX-8 over the top for me:

1. seats 4!
2. 50/50 weight distribution
3. Uniqueness of the Rotary Engine (and has been said, I am starting to see a whole bunch of the 350z around here)
4. Great performance without the turbo charger, can't wait to see what the mazdaspeed version has in store for us, that's what I am really set on.

I guess you can officially call me a mazdaist! All mazda's from here on out.

Well...after test driving one of two Rx-8s here at my local dealership, i`m going to have to go w/ the RX-8!!!! That is one BADASS RIDE(headbang)!! The handling and power are both to be desired. I could only imagine what the MSRX-8 is going to be like!! (burnout)

After dealing with the acura dealer I have for so many years to experience the HORRIBLE customer service from ALL of the local Mazda dealers I am forever done with Mazda. I love the 6 and would love to get one but I have no faither in the local Mazda dealers or in Mazda in general. Even though I don't lik ethe car as much as some mazda models I am going to probably get an acura next time.

That sux that you've had SUCH bad experience with the dealers that you are going to abolish Mazda forever from your choices of automobiles.

I think we all know that some dealers just suck and are not representative of the wonderful cars that Mazda makes. Dealers are in no way connected to the Mazda corporation; they are merely businesses that buy cars from Mazda to resell to the public.

oh well. Good luck in your future endeavors! :)

More Mazdas for me! ;)

350Z!!!! I just love this car. If I wasn't in the market for a house, it would be the car I'd be driving right now. The RX-8 is great for the money though; fully loaded at about $28,500. I just don't like the fact that it only has 159lb/ft of tourque; and the fact that you have to mash all the way to redline to get any usable hp. The 350Z is amazing throughout the powerband. Plus I'm not to fond of the suicide door action of the RX-8.

rx8...there is something about the 350 i dont like.....body just looks to.....ugly....(gun)

I tend to agree here. just look...it looks like someone's peeling it's eyelids back and it's gasping for air in shock or awe over something!
(lol)

Look at what a seductive look the 8 has....the 350 resembles a woman who has had way too much cosmetic surgery and has that oh-so-unnatural suprised look on her face.:D

I do not like the headlights or tails on the 350Z. Actually, without a body kit on it, it is kinda funny looking, but with a body kit on it looks awesome.

The Rx-8, also needs spoiler and such to make it sharp looking, it too is kinda boring in it's stock naked form. But, the low torque is what scares me as well. It's really low, like MAzdaspeed low. I also don't like the extra line that the rear doors make on the side of the rx-8, it breaks up the otherwise gorgeous lines of the side profile. I would love to see a 2 door version.

Either way, I would like to have both. I haven't even touched on interior's. But they both have good points, and bad points.
