Doing that to an RX-7 wouldn't be that bad...I mean..gas milage would improve a little bit(18 mpg w/ the LS2 vs 16/17 w/ stock 13B-REW),plus w/ the V8,it would eliminate turbo lag and the usual problems the comes w/ rotary engines.s***!It would also be a hell of a sleeper!And yeah,the RX-7 is very light, so 50-100 lbs is nothing.
considering how light the car is and how tall those 6 spd trannies are geared, i wouldnt be suprised if it was in the mid 20's. not sure if the final drive gear would help or hur it though
