yeah, for real. The old style cupholders SUCKED...not to mention the placement(right above the HVAC in my outback)

Hey I cant knock the RSX either. Id take one just as easily, though my preference is the WRX by FAR.

In fact, when I was searching for my first car(grandfather told me he was buying it for me) I saw the RSX first and was obsessed, then the WRX. I think I kinda liked the RSX more at that time. Well I got a saturn... (lol)

Just wondering, how does the TSX (in terms of performance) feels, compared to the RSX-S and WRX?

Good choice with the TSX.

Now let me address the myths about a WRX owning the RSX. I have many witnesses that have neen me or been in the killing end of me beeting a WRX on straights, and on the twisties. Even from a dig the WRX takes off, but I would contsantly catch up and beat them.

I ran 2 WRX's at a time this weekend 01blueMP3 can vouch as he flagged the race. One WRX has a full stage 2 build, and the other had headders, catback, and boost controller.

They had the dig but the stage 2 wrx only beat me by half a car length, and the other was around my rear wheels and I was pullin more.

This is the difference

WRX 3100lbs +/- and 6500-7000 redline 230-250hp AWD
RSX-S 2200lbs +/- 8100-8500 redline 200hp FWD

The wrx's were in 3rd gear about 5500rpm at the end of the race, I was in second at 8000.

Also the RSX does have torque and will pull hard. Im not sayin its a jet, but it will go. If you turbo/supercharge it, it will make over 300hp with only 11psi of boost.

You know when this first came out I voted WRX. Yet the honda guy in me keeps saying RSX. Its quite the dilemna.

You thinkin about buying a new car Notorious??

I'm not, but my friend is getting one soon. She is probably going to go with the type-s. Speaking of which another one of my friends had an intake on his type-s. The thing chirps third all day long, not to mention you gotta love the vtec sounds.

3rd is the beast gear, once its in 3rd you can peg the speedo.

Well not to take anything away from ghost or anyone else with an rsx, but they only have one wheel to chirp unlike the msp. I've only gotten 3rd one time in my car, but then again I don't try to hard.

I said RSX type-S a long time ago...and I still say RSX Type-S...

Honda haters still complain about them...but they are machines (and I am by no means a honda lover, or hater...just in the middle...but I love NA)...Slap a good set of tires on them, and they are every bit the handler as any decent FWD...and god forbid we ever get the DC-5 type R...then its over...

but...Ghost...I respect you a lot, and love your car (hell I loved your p5)...but...Where are you getting that a Type-S weighs 2200lbs?...no sir...They are over 2800lbs I believe, at least with a sunroof and all road gear...Have you stripped considerable stuff out of yours? and that is where the numbers are coming from?

Ask me on a certain day and I would say WRX, but deep down inside, given the choice between the two, I would say RSX. I love the styling, the NA-Vtech, and the smooth 6-speed. The way the K20 responds to a little boost is awesome. The WRX is still a fantastic machine though.

I think I'm done with the modding dept. After spending more than I shouldn't on my Protege I finally realize it I shoul've use that money to pay it off. And if I get the WRX/RSX, I know I'll still be getting crap on it. HID/Bigger rims/a little engine mod all those can be found on the TSX already, well most of them...so why not go for that? Anyways, I'm heading out this morning to pick it up.....I'll post up pix once I get it!
