NoNoOOOO that one of the other reason why I like the RSX....No wagon form!!!
I really really have to lose the title of "Soccer dad" and "Wagon-boy". No more wagon for me, sorry fellows.

el ditto. WHEN I get my subaru it will be a wagon. Maybe WRX, maybe Forester XT, but hopefully a LegacyGT wagon (rockon)

The RS-X is so much more refined.
WRX engine sound < RS-X engine sound<RS-X p IMO< sound, engine>

j/p, yur entitled to your opinion, but I have to respectfully and WHOLEHEARTEDLY disagree, COMPLETELY.

jesus stop trying to kill everyone opinions man, he asked what you choose and you told him.

i say buy somethign top of the line i mean a type-s is the best rsx and wrx is a base model.

then again its what makes you happy, if its about forums subbys have better forums then any honda site.,

...ever heard of an RS? That is the base model Impreza. WRX would fall between that and the STi...but it doesnt mean its any lesser of a car because its not THE top model from a given company.

TWO WORDS "HOLE SHOT".....Man i miss my wrx...all the rsxs,5.0s,z28s i smoked...my favorite was the looks on vette owner faces when i launched on em....they passed me 4th gear but it was always worth it. too bad she had to flip.....go for the wrx....2wd isnt as much fun.

The base model is actually the imprezza.... it's imprezza-wrx-sti....

naw dude...the RS, TS, WRX, and STi are ALL Imprezas...Just different levels.

Same with the Legacy(GT and L) and the Forester(X, XS, and XT)

Well that pretty much what I meant... but I haven't heard of a TS though.... It just that the wrx and sti are just know by their trim level in the states... americans are soo lazy.... (poke)

the TS is the 2.5 N/A wagon. In 02 they started calling the sedan the RS, and the wagon the TS.

I think it's funny how people think that if you slap mods on a WRX, you will automatically run low 13s. It's not like AWD automatically makes you a good driver. I know people, believe or not, that have run 14s in an STi or a Stage III WRX.

02?? The 2.5RS was around during the previous generation as well, long before 02, and it was still a sedan then....For a while that was our "version" of the WRX...

Wasn't the "TS" during those days an Outback Sport or something?

yeah, I know the RS has been around since 98. I was just saying that in 02 they started differentiating the sedan and wagon by RS and TS and dropped the L.

Yes, the only way you could get a 2.5 Wagon before 02 was in the outback sport, which was, IMO, a kind of fugly bastard child of the Outback. Two tone paint and a lil bit jacked up from the L wagon.

And I FULLY agree with what Black Majik said. Prolly 20% of peope race their cars can get even get close to their full potential out of them.
I don't claim to be a good driver and probably couldnt break a 14.5 in a stock WRX, but I know some people who are really good. Namely, one guy who hit a 14flat in a stock wrx and another guy who hit a 13.1 in a stock STi. Very good numbers, and it show they know what their doing.
Ive seen so many cars at the track run a full second higher than you expect them to, and its just cuz the drivers cant drive, plain and simple...their clutch is not "slipping" (lol)

I think I am going to hold off on this thought. Somethign came up.....I guess i have to wait a while. How much those STI go for 30 large?
