First time poster. 3 months ago I purchased a 2019 Mazda CX-5 Touring with 37xxxx miles and the card was in clean mint shape. The car is for my daughter who just got her permit and gets driver every other day for the most part. After 3 weeks went outside and the battery was dead as a doornail. Jumped the car easily and all kinds of engine and brake codes went off and the car was in limp mode.
Pulled the battery (that was only 3 months old and a Mazda battery) and had it tested and it came back bad. Mazda dealer near me replaced the battery and I was good for about 3 weeks and the same issue happened again. Took it back to the dealer and they kept if for almost a week and noticed some repair advisories were not completed and did a software update. I got 3 more weeks out of it and guess what dead again. The dealership checked for any paracidic drains on the car and none were discovered. They replaced the new battery with another new batter and in 3 weeks here I am again.
This will be the 4th time taking the car back to the dealer for the same issue. I know that I am not within the new warranty range due to the car being 6 years old but this whole situation is wanting me to return the car back to Mazda where I puchased it from and demand them buy it back for what I paid for it or offer me something to make this right.
