On another note, is your first gen stock, dan? I used to have an 83 GSL, dad's project now. We might be dropping a 13b in it, or maybe another 12a, not sure. It needs a new engine though ;o. I saw your car in the autox video. Looks really really nice. Have you thought of the j oliver r&p kit yet? My first gen = racing beat exhaust, tokico hp shocks, racing beat springs.

So far, the car has Tokico Illuminas, TMC race springs, Racing beat sway bar, RB header, mindtrain exhaust, RB air cleaner, some carb tuning, and numerous other things done to it... I've thought about the R&P kit, but If I installed it on my car, it would throw me out of CSP....

I'd LOVE to, but I'm going to the Delaware Mazda 6 meet on the 8th! You guys have fun!

However, the MSCW (Mazda Sports Car Clb of Washington, DC) is doing a Scenic Drive to Shenandoah TOMORROW! Read the linked thread at RX-8 club for details.

I'm going along - but will only drive in with them and do the Kodak Moments thing

I have other friends coming along and we plan to do a picnic and hike a bit as ewll. Last hike of the season - its starting to cool down

You guys are welcome to come along, of course - for just the scenic drive, and return with the MSCW folks via another scenic route, or stop inside and hike/picnic with me and my friends.

Are the scenic drives fast or speed limit? If you go fast do they get mad?

I think it'll be awesome to have a bunch of RX-8s, 350Zs, RX-7s and a couple of 6's (one more 6 club memebr will go) and you guys in your Pros and MSPs

I don't know about THEM (the MSCW and RX8Club and 350Z board members) - but Shen Park Rangers hate speeders.

My first time there in the 6 a cpl months ago, we got pulled over (friend was driving) and let off with a stern warning. I don't want to take any chances - what if the same ranger is on duty again!

Also - bear cubs and deer were out in force that day - and people are very careless about where and how they stop when they see wildlife - I wouldn't want to be speeding and unable to prevent myself from dirving my 6 up some SUVs ass!

just want to clear it up, I WON'T be able to make it to TOMORROW's (11/1) drive on Skyline Drive (going out of town). I WILL TRY to make it to the 11/8 run, provided either a) The 7 gets fixed in time (highly doubtful ), or b) someone in a certain MSP let me ride shotgun for the run
