Hey I was doing a parts search on car-part.com or something a while ago and one of the mazda options was a rotary pickup truck, did they really make this? I've never heard of it?

yeah it was just a small truck, most people call it a REPU
at one point they had the rotary engine in almost everything

There's a number of those here in the Portland area along with other older rotary Mazdas. A large 'rotary following' if you will. Kinda strange.

Those are pretty cool little trucks though.

do a b2000/2200 truck with the 13b!!! or 12b doent matter. Awsome power, sounds great, and its a truck!!!!!

Got a buddy of mine who is doing a restore on a REPU, it's awesome. I can't wait to see the finished product.

REPU - Rotary Engine PickUp

Mazda sold these pickups from 1974-77
Only in North America
It came with a 13B, 4bbl carb, bench seat, auto or stick. AC optional. No PS
Mazda also made the Courier pickup for Ford, based on the same vehicle, but offered with a piston engine.
I have two, one for sale here:

Maybe they were only sold in '74-'77; but, I could have had one in '73 when I bought my first Mazda PU. Maybe it was the timing of my purchase. I went with the four cylinder because I wanted better reliability and gas mileage.

awesome truck, but please check out the F/S rules in my sig. You need proper pics. And once you have them you might want to create a thread in the "Vehicles for Sale" section as it will get more exposure.

I removed your link and contact info for the time being.

20b outfitted repu is one of my must haves...

lol...I can tell you there will be one less "snatched" 20b out in the wild for you to swap in :p...I wish they had an "Endangered Species" policy for cars...

Eunos Cosmo 20B...An Endangered Car.

Ps...A 20b powered Repu would be pretty damn cool! :D
