Rotary corolla?

Saw a guy driving a 80's corolla today... under the hood? Mazda rotary! WTF?

I never actually saw the guys car, but I heard a lot about it.

That has been done a alot.... Corolla's, Corona's, Sentra's and my favorite the Datsun 510 ( 5'n dime)... A favorite among the Puerto Rican's...

DAMn taht thing pulled like a mofo...

there were some puerto ricans at the track a month ago that had an old MG tubbed out with a roll cage(no roof though) running a 13B revving at 19K rpms...Ran an 8.2 and they packed up.

I seriously doubt it was revving to 19K RPM's MAYBE 10-12 K at the most.

How about a 530RWHP Tercel that runs in the 9's I met these guys at Pettit Racing were getting off the dyno they were getting on. I stuck around to see what itput down.
