There are indeed filler pieces. I took off my roof rack last weekend to do an MPG test. You can remove the whole roof rack part. I think the dealer wants both arms and one leg for it though.
Put a WTB thread for the filler caps up in the for sale non vendor section. Lotta guys have them, and might sell them. They got for around $45 here. If you want to sell the rack, I saw a guy last night post up in the FS section from New Zealand, wanting the roof rack.

When I bought my 02 P5 from the dealer, the roof rack fillers came with the car. Maybe that got changed later. Removing the rails completely involves taking part of the interior apart... Anyhow, if you don't have fillers, you can order them from the dealer or try to post in the WTB section.

When I bought my '03 P5, the roof rack fillers also came with the car.
I hate dealerships when they don't do their jobs by not giving the customers the complete stuff their cars are suppose to come with.

Same here, 03, came with car, & consider myself more rebel biker or outlaw than rogue. Are we talking people powered or something else to buy gas for & pay government to use legally. I'm talking FU, it's a bicycle - I'm not paying anyone to ride it & I'll go wherever, whenever on it with only 2 rules - hydrate or die & motor vehicles win every time if you get in their way.
