saw your post about going with yakima suggest you call their 800 number they will tell you their racks for pro 5 are not rated to carry surfboards.thule racks are rated to carry surfboards dont know why because they are both similar, better safe than sorry... but you got to take off the roof rack rails[for thule] if you got them, check both there web sites lots of info.
