Rico's build thread.

would love to get that like now but cant :/

Will be selling my turbo integra soon and paying off some bills

after that ill have 300-500 extra than what I have a month now. that i can put aside for the swap in the next 2-4 months. I want to do it all at once the right way. with all the info you/evan etc have to get it all done properly

I thought you were doing the FS-ZE? You change your mind more than my girlfriend changes outfits before dinner. lulz

edit- OMG, that MX-6 is gorgeous, especially for the price!

^bahahaha, That's why we subscribe. Unlike Rep changing his mind, Rico halfways commits and throws money at his P5 while his plans change. I'm pretty sure he's had every bumper and front lip on that car! Eric, you're fine...sometimes it's hard figuring out exactly what you want. I know I've changed some things and taken new directions. Being on this site constantly brings up new, cool ideas

not worth it at the end of the day for me. too much of a headache if you ask me.

no I change wheels more than that lmao!

what yr 626 are v6? i know we talked about this but who knows where on my or your thread thats at :/ lol

this time ill save a word document with all the info i get.

what scares me is wiring :/

The wiring isn't a novice deal to approach, but it's not the nightmare that everyone makes it out to be honestly.

Just keep your bearings straight, keep on a progress plan, and watch things "fall into place". It's only a few splices that have to occur in order to do the job. It's the mechanical build that screwed me, because of the custom this, and the repeated "get this part off x car and it'll work!".

Looks like a wire used to b there ? Where does it go ?

Looks like a ground of some sort??

the part I most hope to avoid now that you guys have I believe figured all that out for the most part?

it's all documented.

All mounts, brackets, bolts, nuts, mx6/3 parts to use for the transplant.

fuel pump trick to make it work when the key is on.

power everything from a fused source, and if possible - just match up what feeds what at the fuse box and splice it through. Instead of it feeding the P5 stuff - it feeds KL stuff.

Those are just some of the high-points - we can get into some real detail if you wanna.

Do you still have the OEM ground wire to your passenger side motor mount? I wonder if that was an HID kit ground?

yeah the big ground yep. and when I got the car is was all stock no hids.. i never noticed that until now lol

Wheres it at? I'll take a look and see if I have a wire going from there to somewhere else...my P5 was stock when I bought it minus the aftermarket alarm.
