Rico's build thread.

dang, me and Rico have both had that problem since day one. I figured I needed to change the solenoid, but never had enough motivation to touch it since my car runs fine. The CEL has been off a lot more recently. It comes and goes

we both have the "intake manifold runner control circuit low" issue. I'm thinking it may require a solenoid replacement, but I'm not sure, and if it did I dunno which one. I just now realized you two are speaking of the "fuel pressure regulator control solenoid" though. That is something I do NOT need

From what I read once, a solution to my problem involved the green and white plugs in the red box. The internet said one of these are usually melted. All the wiring and the plugs checked out. I cleaned both with connection cleaner and the CEL continued. There is this solenoid in the blue box that I wonder if that contributes. I had this CEL for almost a full year. It got close to winter last year and as it got colder, my CEL would start to disappear. It would be off some days, on some days, and in and out on others. As of now, it is off more than on. It's not a huge issue, I'm just puzzled by it's existence.

does your intake not have vacum port, i noticed the filter in the head, i want one but what do i do with the line from the head to intake, should i just leave the hose line on?

Put a small filter like I did on the side lol my dad made this intake when at one point he owned it? I'm actually looking into getting an actual good intake soon

So msp lip on the way,Redline shift boot, charge speed lip already here , re tint soon, Jdm tail lights will be on the way soon then I can get car repainted and a few dents fixed and car should b good then along with some cool overs.

Border line on getting coils. Can't seem to make my mind up lol
Rico, you want moar low. the best thing about coils is the ability to adjust height on the fly. Bags are a bit of a gimmick imo. Go for coils man, it will be your best option

rico pm flipottawa and ask him his thought on the ksport bags since he bought a set from CR3 for his car. IMO bags are the best of both worlds because you can ride low and park lower and still have the ability to get into and out of places. ask unzipher15 who just installed a set on his mazda2 what he thinks.

Well the idea of bags I had thrown out the door lol just if I should spend the money on coils now or later lol

Well won the cf bezel on the team pro 5 give Way yay me lol first thing I ever win on a give Away lol

Very true . I'll wait til lip comes in and I get car painted first I think then I'll get coils unless a good deal on bcs come that I cant say no to
