Rho Plate help!

So I have a rho plate that I bought used and for some reason the damn thing keeps getting loose. I have adjusted it many times and it loosens and turns 180*. Anyone have any advice on how to keep this plate from becoming loose.

Try a small rubber or plastic washer behind the hex head bolt that attaches to the towhook shaft, I imagine that would tighten things up and keep it from spinning.

It came with a metal washer. I tightened it really tight this morning, hopefully it'll stay. I didn't want to break my hex key. Do you think loc-tite would help?

Loctite is your best friend against gravity when it comes to the plate holders.

also, the more you have the post off of center, the harder it will be to keep straight. a rubber washer and locktite will do the trick as others have suggested.

So far so good. I just put the rho plate in the center hole and tightened the screw as much as possible, little by little. If it falls again then I will apply loctite.

When it fell it was at the far bottom left hole. Previous owner had it there so I figured I would try it. Guess it wasn't a good place for the plate...

I took some pliers and separated the lock washer out a little. That helped too!
