ahh damn that was an awsome time...i got a dnf on the first go around cause i had the need to leave the course with the car...and the second time i got a 35.1....oh well my first run time was a 31.2 if i didnt leave the course...had a great time....didnt recognise anyones cars....i had my protege5.com shirt on for a while and then bought a rev it up shirt....all in all fun time

My Competition Runs were Sunday 10a and 11a.
Having never done this I was nervous as hell.
Stats from the first run were my best. 31.4 seconds.Stupid pen in my short pockets on the 2nd run knocked the shifter out of manual mode right after the first set of traversing cones so the car shifted into 3rd as I was hitting that short straight going into the long back stretch. I was kind of bummed...
I had a great time regardless. Test drove the MazdaSpeed Miata 3 times and the 6spd RX-8 2 times. The Mazda6 Wagon was nice too.

Didn't go cause of my kid's baseball league. (sad1)

My oldest jacked a three run homer though, so that pretty much made up for missing rev-it-up! (yippy)

First time I had ever been to chicago. the suburbs were nice, the north shore rd was nice.. but in between... went to the navy pier saturday afternoon.

LOL, my chalk time was at 820a, race times 10a and 11a also. I got there really early since we were staying at the Sheraton right next door. They allowed me to attend the 720 chalk time talk and get my practice sessions in. I got all 8 of them punched before my 10a race. Spent most of my time at the Handling Course where Carlos Velez gave me some really good tips. How did you do, what was your score?

my first run i decided to drive off course a lil and got dq'd but still managed a 32.4 and the second run i didnt wanna go off again so my dumbass took that one turn wat to slow and got a 35.1

I was the dood with the doo-doo brown shirt on. I also was wearing alpinestars gloves because last year I remember my hands smelling like armpit (more like coochie) after touching the 6s' steering wheels. I drove my black p5 with cf headlight covers and the jdm-esque front license plate. How would you id yerself for that day?

I managed a 32.319 improving over last year.
