Retrofitted Mazda 2

Yeah they are big lol. There's an 8mm bolt in front of the tire at the fender and another on the bottom where the fender meets the fender liner. I too removed the big push retainers beside the hood latch just in case. Then it's just the bolts and panel retainers on top of the lights and that's it. You should be able to have the light out in about 5 minutes

Yeah, I wasn't sure what I was forgetting in the fenderwell since I rolled my fenders lol! One of the easiest lights I've taken out honestly.

I just buyed the TRS kit. Now wanting to remove the headlights.

These headlights are givin' me a bad time... can somebody post some pic of all the Bolts/Push-Pin they remove to get the headlight out?

Mines don't wanna come out.. Close tough. Must be not seeing a bolt or something.

I've got the four bolt in the corner of the headlights. (2 are from the fender) I've got those in the front near the Mazda logo. Couple Push-pins near the tire.

Sorry for my Bad english I'm french (:

Thanks !

Why does everybody have an issue with "smiley face"? :)

I mean: there are a lot of angry-faced (sad-faced, droopy-faced, etc) cars around. Only ours have a smiley one. Is there a problem with it? I don't think so :#

I did finally get some more pictures. Unfrotunately the green machine is no more. I was rear ended by a woman in a Jeep Liberty about a week and a half ago. It buckled the roof so it's a total loss. I'm going to try to slavage the headights from my insurance company but I'm not sure if they will let me keep them.

And Joe, the lights look great from what I can see. I hope to see more retrofitted 2's in the future

long as you have replacement parts to replace what you're taking there's no way they can keep you from you items. They HAVE to accomodate you...honestly don't let them keep anything you want to keep.

I gave them my sportmaxx's because i only paid 300 for them and they gave me 250 for premium alloy wheels and they were 3 years old. But i didn't get my header off my yaris or my trd springs. They told me i couldn't raise the car at all...but when i got there, their requisition paperwork said Rims on there, and THAT's when they told me that THEY couldn't help me raise the car, but if i brought my own jack and jack stands I could take whatever i wanted. I was sooooooooo pissed

Yeah I'll figure it out. If they let me have them(or take them either way), I'll probably put them up for sale if anyone is interested.

That sucks :( sorry to hear.

Actually your not the first person to do so, I came across a guy in Sacrament here who retrofitted his about 10 months ago. I met him in a Discount Tire and he said it was very easy, and he also removed the ugly orange reflector out of it and had his fog lights done too. He said he did the fog lights first. I've been thinking about doing the same but Ive found some pretty nice headlights online that look very nice and look factory made. BUT it looks really good.
