Retiring from Antenna Business

The antennas are at the powder coaters right now. I made 40 of them this first run and I'm having them all powder coated black. Once I get them back I will engrave the Protege5 logo on each side and post pics. I was to have them back yesterday but you know what happens when you send stuff out. It always takes longer than they tell you. Last word is maybe first thing next week. Will keep you all posted as thing progress on.

As for pricing, it looks like $25 for the antennas and still $30 for a set of my gauge rings. If you want to buy them both, I will give you a $5 discount, so your total for both would only be $50. All of these prices do not include shipping!

I have both the antenna, and the rings. I won the antenna at the NC Promazda meet. I love this thing. Also one thing worth adding is that some of you are worrying about them getting stolen. On mine ( i guess it was one of the prototypes, or first run?) when you tighten it down by hand it wasnt straight. What i did was took a pair of pliers wrapped in a cloth and tightened it down snuggly about another 1/4 to a 1/2 of a turn till it was on tight and straight. I love these products. Im glad i put in on the raffle at the meet.

Finally put the antenna on the car. I was worried that the long antenna might be too much - its just right!! Looks better than I imagined. You really do good work - it will be missed, I'm sure!

I have Justin's medium antenna and love it...but I also worry about it being stolen. I don't think I can weld it though. I was thinking of getting a back-up one just in case. Well....DaveB?? Also, DaveB, I was wondering if you could make a shorty antenna for my 1990 Miata. Mine does not retract and sticks up about 3 feet. It does unscrew so maybe you could make one that is only a foot high?? Let me know if you are game.

if you are ever willing to make these for the sedan...i have the money sitting in front of me...i also want to get the rings, but i would like to get them at the same time...not only for the savings, but just so i don't have to send out money twice...
