Resonator delete???

Hi has anyone deleted their resonator yet, im going on Saturday to do it. Just wanted to know if it makes much difference sound-wise on this car

Makes a good difference on the 07-09s but I really don't know how your catback systems are configured so I couldn't tell...

Are you deleting it on a 2.5 or a speed?? I'm curious!! Until they come out with an exhaust I might do this if it sounds cool!!! Keep us posted!!

The old ones have two... the new ones I'm guessing either have one or two and the large muffler in the rear.

yea the new one has one with one large muffler in the middle. so i went on sunday to the shop and the guy told me not to do it because he changed it on the car like mine last week and it didnt make much difference. so i figured id rather wait till the performance exhaust comes out and waste my money on that. and besides they already have the intake at corksport so i think the exhaust will follow soon.

Is it better of to take it to the shop or do it yourself to take out the resonator?

i recommend deleting the resonator i deleted all of them and its just straight so in bvetween the intake and the sound of the exhaust and BOV its like music to my ears lol but yeah you will love the difference in the sound

If anything, I would think/guess that the boom in the cabin would be increased to the point of annoying, especially at highway speeds?
The Speeds would react differently because of the turbo being in the system.
