Removing the Z919

Before everyone starts yelling at me. Yes I did search for it on the fourms. But I was wondering what was the easiest way to remove the deck from other people's exp. I'm starting to hate that thing since taking it out is a b****......

how did you do it?

Remove the front plastic trim piece that surrounds the Z919, after that it was all good. Came right out. No special tools needed.

why did you take it out? replacing it?

So I do not need keys or anything? I looked at it and tried to remove it. but it was hard. I need to replace my RCA cables because my subs broke the male part of the RCA's kinda sucks. I did not bolt down the box so when i took the turns at 80 the box would fly. ITs bolted down now.

when i took the stocker outta my p5, I needed the u-shaped removal tools.. I replaced it with the 919 from a MSP..

well the only thing really holding on to it are the two tabs when the face opens on both sides. Take out the plastic piece first, it will make it so much easier to remove
