Relocating MAF

really? how? ive heard its not bolts, its like a weird retainer clip and if you break it, its toast. what of that is correct

The exhaust side has 5 bolts, the compressor side has a large retainer c-clip that needs to be compressed or removed. To remove or compress that clip, you need large and long 45 degree needle nose pliers, and sometimes need to to grind down the pliers tips so they can fit in the holes of the clip. A good tool store will also have LARGE c-clip removing tools made for doing just that.

EDIT: To break the retainer clip, you'd have to be a big dumb ape w/ no finesse. The clip is plenty stout, and you should worry more about the clip shooting off the turbo @ your face when you mess w/ it.

Yea. It makes different intercooler set-ups possible, and allows just overall fine placement tuning of how your turbo / mani / intercooler comes together.

which wont really up your peak power number but it will increase your spool up... definitely helps, but not gonna change much
