Hey guys, anyone know a GOOD Mazda Dealer's service center? I am willing to drive a ways (eg Lakeland, Apopka, etc) to get to one that treats me nice. Having BAD problem with Classic Mazda East up on Semoran. It's taken now 4 visits just to fix my radio!!!! Also, note if the dealer is cool with mods on your car.

Thanks!

Corey Fairbanks Mazda in Longwood has served me good so far. I can't attest to the mod question personally though. Just been in for routine maintenance work.

Cheers,
Scott

i 2nd that, cory fairbanks is good. i bought the speed from them back in July and i have gone back for service...very nice and good service!!

3rd vote for Cory Fairbanks. I was really mad at Classic when I went there just to look at the MSP and they said I couldn't even sit in the car.

And Boniface in Melbourne just flat out sucks.

lol they shat in their pants when i brought my car in to get the seat fixed and while i was getting stuff out of the passenger seat the valet asked what was this lcd molded into the dash for. . and we parked it behind the garage and like the whole garage crew came out and watched jay and silent bob for a little while. .

too bad my seat still creaks when i make turns. . . i figure if i get racing seats with new brackets that won't happen anymore. . . i just need 600 bux for tenzo's

Yeah Classic Mazda Can be a b**** but you just got to work with them. When I bought my MSP they would not work with me at all...thats untill Levert called me up and talked to me on the phone and he was super cool! So Classic Mazda is good...you just have to get on their good side. Cuz my friend wanted to test drive the speed and they wont let them but they let me test drive it. I think its only certain people. Look for Levert or Rick Wong in sales...if anyone is interested! Sorry I dont know any service guys but those are the awsome sales guys.

not thread jacking but classic mazda east wanted to charge me 268$ for the mazdaspeed exhaust! I was like no thanx.

I Bought my car from Levert at classic. Fairbanks tried to rob me. I guess it depends on who you talk to there.

OK, here is my summary:

CLASSIC: salespeople are awesome & friendly/service is clueless, but willing to work with you if you keep trying

FAIRBANKS: salespeople are total assholes/service is outstanding, they know all about Mazdaspeed stuff, & are the only ones in FL who do the flash (that I know of)

*There is 1 guy at Fairbanks who I think might be cool with mods*

Could you give me the name of the guy that is cool with mods? Or any official Mazda Mechanic that is cool with mod. My turbo timer has to be hotwired in becasue there is no wiring harnness for it so I kinda wanted to know what I can do to my car to not void warrenty.

I can understand not wanting to let a 20 year old test drive the car (well...kinda)...but they wouldn't even unlock the door and let me get a good look inside.

Yeah my friend said that about classic too...that they wouldnt even let him test drive it and he was serious about buying it. I seriously think its whoever you get at the sales guy. I worked with classic for a while and i can tell you that alot of them are asshole but there are some that are really nice and willing to work with you. My firend say they are clueless about the speed protege. Like they didnt know what a ECu flash was. They told my bud that it was turbo lag...okay 2 turbo lags?

Classic took me for a test drive the 1st time I was there. The guy drove the car harder than I've ever drove mine. We did 90 twice, were going around corners at like 60 on damp roads, & even did a 60-0 brake test! :D That's what convinced me to buy the car.

Then again, the guy was like 25, so I bet he was more easy going than the older guys.

I had the guy at Classic test drive it for me the first time. He said he used to sell STi's and took some fancy training course for expert salesmen and blah blah blah. Long story short he drove the MSP like A MANIAC.

The next week I bought the other one on the lot.
