regular protege motor

hey ken i call like two days ago but u never call back to reset the password. ............... i alway take my car to a shop because i dont know how to work on my car but i have the shop and the cash but im still looking for the right motor. i dont want to end up with a none working and have two motor working. do u guys think i blew my tranny too????

you're going to have to give a LOT more detail for anyone to have a clue. but likelyhood of blowing both at once... pretty slim. if you don't know which you blew.. um.... you shouldn't be driving an MSP..
 
when i blew my motor all i heard was a pop and smoke start to come out. i know i blew my motor but what about my transmission.

yeah. not to be mean.. but i'm having a hard time understanding what jean is saying..

easy way to tell though... if you can turn your car on and it doesn't make a million HORRIBLE gut wrenching noises.. or a loud knock, that you know doesn't sound right.. it's prolly fine.. if it won't turn on at all. prolly bad. if it's on, sounds fine, and you can't put it in gear.. trans.
 
i think i blew it because my BC was doing 13psi. i think my bc broke or my wg . i forgot to say my turbo mam was cracked.
 
um... you shouldn't be running 13psi unless you have a built motor... you pretty much asked to blow it up. on a lighter note, welcome to the zoom zoom boom club... lol
 
the thing was i didnt set my bc to 13psi it just said that way. i even turn i off and it would go to11-13psi
 
well this is what i have done to my car stage 1 excedy corksport flywheel greedy EBC FMIC and AEM intake. ans hks SSQV BOV

You really need to start taking it apart. Or else all it looks like is this.

thats all well and good, but to run that kinda boost you need forged rods and pistons...some sort of engine management, exhaust upgrade, motor mounts, and some other misc goodies... you'll probably snap your differential sooner or later with that kinda build too, simply because they're weak.
