rear view mirror problem

Is anyone else having trouble with thier rear view mirror. I have to adjust it every single time I get in the car. It is like it slips down and all I can see is the back dash. Is there any way to tighten it? I am worried about having to adjust it every day several times. That can't be good for it. I had to deal with the rear views falling off on all of my used cars that I owned. I sure don't want that happening in my 3.

Any suggestions?

Is it something the dealer can replace? The mirrors slide on-and-off easily enough and the one that comes with the car seems inexpensive (I'm assuming you don't have the temp-sensing and/or homelink mirror). Have you asked if they can just replace it since the current one seems too loose to maintain a position? Is the car still under mfg warranty?

Turn down the music? when i have music turned up my mirror does lose a bit of position because of the thumping lol. Thats how i fixed mine but i somehow think yours would have to be replaced.

There is a noticable vibration in mine, but the position does not change. Just get a new one under warranty, and tell them that it is a safety hazard that needs to be corrected.

s*** man mine is so hard to move i think i am goin to break it before it loosens up, i would deffinatly get that looked at...
