Good? Good?

Are any of them good?

To me they all sound like complete and total crap, and I just don't understand how anyone with any type of musical taste would listen to it.
this is why i hate people on this forum. no one in the hip-hop community ever disses any other genre of music, yet there are so many whatever-genre people that hate hip-hop just because they can't listen to it. it just shows that some people can't open up to other tastes and styles...at first, i didn't like punk or ska or whatever, but when i heard a few bands (the white stripes, the strokes, linkin park, rolling stones, red hot chili peppers), i started to realize that those genres weren't so bad after all and opened up my ears to other types of music. that's why whenever i post something about music on this forum, i have to add some lil' line that says i don't want some bad ass comments and how much someone hates whatever. it's all a big bag of BS

oh yeah, search illegal-art.com for the dj danger mouse and the grey album. pretty good mix of the beatles and jay-z. i love playing it loud in my MSP...sounds absolutely clear and great.

and search for anything by the Neptunes or N.E.R.D. love chad hugo and pharrell williams...awesome music artists with lots of different tastes. try and find "the Neptunes presents Clones" cd. lots of different artists with good bump

Ludacris is my fave rapper so go with him.Let's see I recently got Chingy's album two days ago and so far it's great.

In fact, I'm going to see Luda,Chingy and the rest of the DTP cru along w/ David Banner and another guy in March.Oh yeah that reminds me,if you want your P5 to really bump, put on David Banner's "Like a pimp" that song is off the hizzle,fo' shizzle....Ok I know ..that was stupid. But just listen to the song.(2thumbs)

Finally someone else who can appreciate real hip hop music. You all MUST get the Gang Starr greatest hits CD. It's called "Full Clip - a Decade of Gang Starr" It is so good and you'll see how Guru's style has influenced everything you hear on the radio today.

Also the newest KRS One compilation is good too. Forget the name though.

I forgot aboyut Lords of the Underground - Funky Child was one of my favorite old time jams

fkmp5 is right on the ball. Hip-hop now is garbage. 50, lil jon, nelly. that's all recycled s***. i hate when people ask me what music i listen to. i have to explain that i listen to underground hip-hop and they are like "who?" i name a few groups or solo artists and they have a blank ass look on their face. i respond, you'll never hear it on B96(local trendy station) or MTV(a tv station that curupts young minds).
thanks guys for giving me props on my hip-hop taste.

hell, while i'm at it, i wanted to throw out a few more classics that everyone should have:

milk d
the pharcyde
diamond d

really, the list could go on and on.. they just don't make 'em like they used to.. and yeah TX: you're right.. i've got the double-disc full clip here and it gets much rotation.
