Yep. I got screwed. Hit a curb with both my front and rear right side wheels. If I could have turned around and found him I'd probably be in jail right now.(guns) Bastard was headed right for me, half in my lane, then blows his horn at me like I was doing something wrong. We were on a 2 lane road with curbs (some dumbasses design) and he decided, with both of us at speed, that my lane looked better than his.
Not sure what I want to do now. Might buy new wheels, might just stick with what I have and deal with the fugly until next year.
Just needed to vent :mad: (pissed)

I know the feeling. In my case it was a Cadillac and I was in my MX-6. The bad news was it has a set of expensive Fittipaldi Executive wheels that have not been made in 8 years or so. The good news is that I was able to get them straightened and refinished for $150.

If you call a tire store, they may be able to tell you about a local place. Just make sure that you look at some of their work and talk to some people that have used them. It would be the pits if they made the wheels worse.

cj...it could have been worse....I had a similar experience once...but the road didn't have curbs...it had HUGE ditches....

when it was all said and done....my car had to be towed....there was a hole in the oil pan....the front bottom A-arm was bent as was the right front wheel....the windshield was gone from the mail box that went THROUGH it.....the hood was dented where the mailbox hit it....the front was cracked where the post from the mailbox hit it....

all in all it was a BAD night....and the MF ran off and left me there in the ditch after stopping...as soon as he saw me crawling out of my window and thought I wasn't hurt...he sped off into the night.....
