Ractive Intake Installation

those are heat wraps, so it doesnt heat up the tubes, and i also have 2 duct tubes connected to the filter for colder fresher air :)

ractive SRI alone is worst the the stock air box, but w/ what i did, it felt smoother..

as for SRI not fitting well, i bought mine 2nd hand, and it fit perfectly, but the person i bought it from, he had problem installing it, the first tube didnt fit @ all.. so i think it depends how your car is when it was built...

o okay thanks.

My Ractive also rubbed against the brake master cylinder tube thingy. lol I just(VERY carefully) bent that little tube backwards. It only has to be move about 2-3mm back. Also, you may have to really wrestle that intake onto the throttle body as far as it will go. Get that coupler as far onto the throttle body as it will go, then wrestle the tube as far as it will go. It take some fiddling around, and a good amount of forearm strength as well. ;) Yeah, it's far from the best intake ever, but what'd you expect? First, it's made by Ractive. Second, it only costs $70. All it did for my car was it improved the throttle response quite a bit, and other than that, it looks better than stock. ;) You get what you pay for.
