Racing Seats

ok maybe someone can tell me if this will work and how i have a 02 protege 5 i just bought racing seats for it but the thing is my stock seats have a wire under it leading up into the back of the seat someone said its for my air bags so im not sure if i can use my racing seats but seen them in proteges all the time how can i get past this??

The wire is from the seatbelt buckle... it has nothing to do with the seat itself. Your brackets for your aftermarket seat should/might be able to retain the stock seatbelt mount, so don't worry about the wire. BTW this wire is only on your driver seat. Hope that helps somewhat.

I forget the size but you have to put a resistor on that line. If not you will get an airbag light. I have no airbags left so I removed the line and forget the size of resistor I used!

yeah theres two wires the seat belt and the one running up the back of the seat inside the seat theres two spots to unzipper the stock seat
