Alright. I finally got the vararam intake installed! Finished up this evening. It was definetly no walk in the park. I relocated the maf in front of the throttle body like the kit allowed me to. IT said to drive normal for 60 miles. I drove it for about 30 before going crazy. I could tell the car had like a loss of power for a second during light throttle during the first miles. But it worked itself out. Its almost like I strapped a turbo on with al the air forcing in. Around 45mph in 2nd gear is no joke when you hit the throttle. Definetly a big difference. When I got home the intake manifold and all the piping was ice cold.
I emailed the tuner. Hopefully I can get it in the shop here in a couple weeks. There is still something funny going on at the top end. Once it hits about 5000rpm's there is a miss kinda sound coming from somewhere. Whether it be the motor which I think it is.
Brighter. Aligned. I did lower them a little today. Its HID 35w kit 6000k in a standard headlight. Its not going to be a clean light output. Lights up the road very nice. Its pretty damn bright looking at the car at night. But I havent had the high beams thrown at me so it must not be buggin the oncoming traffic. I also went with silver star ultras for the highbeams.
The clear corners came in this afternoon. I love them. They are pretty much a fog light now with the switchback leds in them. Did away with the old looking stockers that accumulate moisture.
Put on a couple coats of quik wax and polished the wheels.
Cleaned the interior. Heres a pic of the C6 shifter I installed as well as the zo6 shift knob.
I drove home today with an inch of slush on the ground with it snowing and raining at the same time. I was really glad that I had the MS6 and not my old Accord. They're predicting 12 inches total my Monday AM. I love the AWD, traction control, and ABS. Maybe someday I'll get V8, or even better V12, power. Not for my daily driver.
