quick wheel question

Im planning on buying some knew wheels soon. Im new to rims but if I get new ones, does that mean I need to buy new tires as well? I know the stock rims are 18 inch . . . if I buy 18 inch TSW nogaro's will I need new tires? Also if anyone knows the dimensions / weight of stock msp 6 rims i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

depending on how much tread is left on your stockers you can just transfer the tires onto the new wheels...

Aight sounds good. Ive only got 8K miles on my speed 6 so my tires should still be in pretty good shape.

The stock tires on the Speed6 are 215-45-18. So the most you could go on the width of the rim is 8"inches.

The stock specs for the wheels are 18x8 55 offset.

So I would say you could probably go with a 45-55 offset so, 18x8. Dont go lower than a 45 offset cause it will definetly rub. I've had 18x8 and 18x7.5 with 45 offsets with 225-40-18 on mine and there was no rubbing at all and my car is lowered.

I know have 20x8.5 Axis Rennsports with 225-35-20 and they rub even with the fenders rolled, but mostly only on wide turns. Which means I cant mash on it as hard as I use to but, it looks good/
