I'v been driving the protege around for while, and i'v been noticing when i make right hand turns or sometimes on straight roads i will hear a "wao wao wao" almost like a rubbing sound, not loud, but noticable. Sometime I can also feel it in the steering or on the floorboards, i just got new tires and it's still going on, I don't think it's the alignment because it goes pritty damn straight, i think it's the wheel bearing, what do you guys think. I really hate to take turns fast with it doing that, so please help me fast.

i would have it checked out. my CV joint on my first car gave out and made sounds like that, along with a clicking noise in the turns.

"wao wao wao"
(lol) (lol) (lol)
Sorry, justs reminds me of that commercial where the ladies are trying to explain the noise their cars are making. I think its for meineke.

But, back to topic, I agree with the pikachu. Sounds like a CV may be out. To the dealer you go, wao wao wao! hehehe

CV!! How many miles you got on it?? You should have any CV boot problems. What tires did replace the old ones with?? Were they the stock sized tires??

I've noticed the same sort of noise coming from my wheels. Haven't experimented or paid attention to which direction I turn when it happens... but it only happens when making a reasonably sharp turn (which are always at 20mph or slower).

To the dealer I shall go as well, and I plan to let them know for a fact mine isn't the only one doing this. Stupid CV joints, those are a pain... hooray for warranty! :D
